Hank Stacks, Easy Mac & Beastly Raps

A gravitational force surrounds those who find their vocation at a young age. The force that pulls you toward your calling remains spiritual. Find your passion early, feed your craft, and double down on efforts to follow the path toward self-fulfillment. This is sure to occur as long as the work follows the finding. Finding what it is that makes you feel most alive is the majority of the creative battle! We are pleased to say we have found our craft and found others to help embolden our efforts.

Okay, so boom – we found a way to usher Fresh News Now into the next wave of the new generation. Views from the SONY Handycam [Hi-8 Tapedeck] fixates Fresh firmly in nostalgia while delivering content for the future. Our core audience knows that 90s kids get the biz and new fads fade quickly. We aim and shoot to return to the grimey nineties via VHS which is why the veiled visuals are cloaked with a grainy nod to 2000’s era music scenes.

Enter Hank Stacks from Troy, NY – Upstate 518. This man found his calling before he even hit his teens. Pouring pain into the booth and steadily flicking the microphone around has led to countless hours spent on his craft.

Many people steer their path toward artistry from a young age to release themselves from the mental prisons imposed by the ways of the world. Take for example – Prodigy and Havoc of Mobb Deep – their raw lyricism landed them in The Source when they were only 16!CDN mediaMuch of the allure surrounding an artist deals with their age, area and subject matter. If an artist is rhyming better at 13 than some artists at 30 – people are going to take double notice! Any place is what you make it, but those recording in hubs like NYC, LA, ATL, CHI might have access to stronger resources and appeal due to popularity of the area. Yet, people in those areas have to cut through twice as much competition at three times the strength!

It seems as if Hank Stacks came out the womb rapping. From that point on, this man endured tremendous pain en route to finding his vocation. Check the Fresh interview with Hank [below] to hear about how, “pain is all i got fr.”

All the recorded tracks, all the vinyl pressed on wax and all of his life has led to the culmination of this moment – KING OF THE HILL [Drops June 1st] by Hank Stacks x White Lighter Ent.

Fresh just always seems to spot these artists when they are on the verge of releasing a Magnum Opus [masterpiece project]

Thankfully, Hank commissioned Fresh VHS to rollout the release of his upcoming project. We sported Hank Stacks off with a 3 pack of promotional videos for ‘KING OF THE HILL’ set to premiere soon. Make sure to follow our Instagram for all the latest updates!
