Enter a rugged skater looking kid who could be in college. Instead, he opened his third eye to give his audience a Khalifa type fix. Is it too soon to say Sko fills the Mac gap ? Nevermind all that though – Sko pushes big P a.k.a. PiFF.
His upcoming album resides high above the Washington Heights. Atop the crate layers one might find the mix where Sko provides an essential Halloween fix.
The second single struck me as a modern day version of something you might see on TRL. Or something that Harmony Korine and Larry Clark might have staged.
Imagine going to the illest carnival of your lifetime. Absolute Euphoria & endless loops of joy. This song and video synchronize brilliantly to reflect and illuminate each other in tandem.
The song reminds me of the repetition experienced in school. Hell Sko could still be in school so it makes sense ! Stubborn contains catchiness combined with repetition which makes one reminiscent with nostalgia.
All praise to the Lord Sko, though ! It is extremely refreshing to see someone who enters the game on their own pace, cadence and brings something NEW when they steer the lane.
An organic slow bubble with solid collaborators like Pete Rosenberg, Statik Selektah and Top Shelf Premium have moved mountains for listeners. Also, the in-house production from Arlo Walker provides such a distinct sound.
